The Graduation Project is a compulsory course that students must successfully complete in order to graduate from the Department of Electronics and Automation. Within the scope of this course, students are required to develop and implement a project. To successfully complete the course, the following steps must be followed in order:
- Students must select a project topic from the current project list or contact the relevant faculty member to discuss their own project ideas. Faculty members’ e-mail addresses are provided in the project list. The updated project list is available at this link.
- If the project is approved by the academic advisor, students must complete the Project Application Form available at this link in full and submit it to the faculty member supervising the project. The deadline for submitting fully completed Project Application Forms to academic advisors is March 2, 2026.
- Once the project application has been approved, the student must begin the project work and develop the project to a sufficient, functional, and operational level.
- After the project has been made functional, the Graduation Project Report must be prepared together with the required literature review and written in accordance with the specified formatting and writing guidelines. Projects that do not comply with the required format will not pass the initial review stage and will therefore be considered unsuccessful. For the writing guidelines and required format, click here.
- Students must submit the Graduation Project Report to their academic advisor in accordance with the format requirements of Marmara University Vocational School of Technical Sciences.
- On the examination day, students must present their project in written, oral, and practical formats and obtain the required passing grade to successfully complete the course.
