INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

♦ EDUMEC

The EDUMEC Project was carried out under the Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation action of the European Union Lifelong Learning Programme, coordinated by Marmara University Vocational School of Technical Sciences (MÜTBMYO).

The project team, consisting of Assoc. Prof. Vedat TOPUZ and Lecturer Dr. Z. Aysun ALTIKARDEŞ from the Department of Computer Technologies, together with Asst. Prof. Ayça AK and Lecturer Bekir ORAL from our program, successfully carried out the project in cooperation with the project partners.

♦ E-PRAGMATIC

Within the scope of this project, implemented under the Leonardo da Vinci Thematic Networks action of the European Union Lifelong Learning Programme, Marmara University Vocational School of Technical Sciences (MÜTBMYO) participated as an associated partner.

The project partnership activities were carried out by the EDUMEC project team under the leadership of the Director of the Vocational School, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Öksüz.

NATIONAL PROJECTS

♦ FIBERIST

The project entitled “Training and Employment Organization of Young People as Fiber-Optic Transmission Line Installation and Measurement Technicians,” prepared by a project team consisting of academic staff from the Department of Electronics and Automation at Marmara University Vocational School of Technical Sciences, was successfully evaluated and approved for funding under the 2012 Financial Support Program for Supporting the Entrepreneurship, Skills and Future of Children and Young People of the Istanbul Development Agency.

The project had a duration of 12 months and was completed in December 2013.

TECHNOLOGY SCHOOL

Within the scope of the cooperation protocol between Marmara University and Türk Telekom, our students receive face-to-face and practical training in laboratories equipped with next-generation communication infrastructure.

Students who successfully complete the training are given the opportunity to obtain a telecommunications certificate.
