Maltepe Municipality Social Responsibility Project Cooperation Protocol

On June 26, 2019, a Social Responsibility Project Cooperation Protocol was signed between Marmara University Vocational School of Technical Sciences and Maltepe Municipality and entered into force for a period of one year.

Within the scope of the social responsibility project, the protocol covers experience sharing as well as the following education- and learning-oriented cooperation activities:

  1. Under the coordination of the academic staff of the Department of Electronics and Automation, students of the department will provide 4-hour Robotics Coding and Robot Building Training sessions during the summer period in groups of eight participants.
  2. Children between the ages of 7 and 12 who receive education at units affiliated with the Maltepe Municipality Directorate of Libraries will assemble disassembled components and then integrate the movable objects they create with electronic boards, sensors, and motors. They will run suitable programs for their prototypes and gain hands-on experience by modifying these programs and developing their own applications.
